About

BETTER HEALTH DATA S.R.L. is a specialized Romanian consultancy company founded and administered by Dr. Alina-Ioana Forray, a public health physician and researcher dedicated to strengthening health systems through evidence-based practice. Holding a PhD in Medical Sciences and a specialist certification in Public Health and Management, Dr. Forray combines on-the-ground clinical insight with academic rigor.

Her work is published in over 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers, and she serves as an Assistant Professor at "Iuliu Haţieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy and a Scientific Researcher at Babeș-Bolyai University. This unique position at the intersection of practice and academia ensures that our solutions are not only innovative but also practical and implementable.

Health Innovation Mentorship

  • Provided expert mentorship to multiple startup teams, guiding them through the research, development, and implementation cycle for new health technologies and services.


International Grant Proposal Evaluation

  • Served as a selected expert evaluator for the THCS JTC2024 call, a €34M+ European funding initiative focused on digital and personalized prevention. Responsibilities included conducting detailed written reviews of complex international research proposals and participating in the final peer review panel to determine funding awards .


Conference Organization & Ecosystem Building

  • As the organizer of the RoStartup Conference 2023, we successfully managed a key event for the national tech and innovation ecosystem. Our role involved the end-to-end coordination that brought together over 300 participants, and we engaged specialist platforms for services like ticket commercialization to ensure a professional experience.


Strategic Event Facilitation

  • We design and facilitate high-impact strategic innovation workshops. Our role is to coordinate all activities and expertly guide participants through collaborative processes to achieve defined innovation goals.


Selection into a Premier Business Incubator

  • In November 2023, BETTER HEALTH DATA was competitively selected to join the ABC INCUBATOR, a leading business incubator for technology and innovation in Cluj-Napoca.
